Hi everyone:
I'm busily working away on the revamped site for VI Corps, a huge project which will take a several months to complete due to the large amount of data collected over the years. The revamp will contain everything you see before you on the main site (www.6thcorpscombatengineers.com), but the formatting will be even more user and mobile friendly. One thing that will get the biggest overhaul is the Engineer Gallery, and I can't wait to share that with you.
So, hold onto your hats and helmets, and thanks for your patience while we go through the changes.
Essayons,
Marion

Well, as most of you know by now... the new site is up and running smoothly. I am so happy and relieved, as it was in the works for a very long time. It certainly made me appreciate all the hard work I had done in the past.
I wish to extend a multitude of thanks to everyone who contributed to this ever-growing project, especially all the veterans who shared some of their innermost thoughts and memories with me. One word - irreplaceable!
Going through every page one by one, was quite difficult, as it brought back so many memories - so many wonderfully, touching moments. Sure made me miss "my boys". I will never forget them. I still hear their voices. They will never fade. They altered my life in so many ways. Made a good life a thousand times better.
I have to admit that I shied away from the site for a long time when that inevitable day passed before me. I knew it was coming. I had talked about it with those I was close to. How would I feel when they were no longer here? So, keeping my distance was one of my methods for handling the grief. I only hope that you can forgive me for my absence while my heart healed. It was simply too painful.
😘
