Very nice, M...
I think they would look great in a frame-box with a red or black felt backing. You can find it (felt pieces) pretty cheap in fabric or arts & crafts stores usually. I have used it as a backing for some armbands and it looks really nice.

Postcard sent to my grandmother from dad at Camp Custer in Michigan
Hey! Cool.
In case ya didn't know, the 85th "Custer" Division was organized at Camp Custer, Michigan in WW1 and they adopted their name after the camp and General Custer, of course. Interesting to see your Dad's connection to Camp Custer.

And the circle just keeps expanding doesn't it. Always leads us back to another clue and another tie-in. Perfect.
I did not know that. Thanks for expanding my knowledge. ![]()

Marion:-
During WW II they changed the name to Fort Custer and that was a HUGE place.
Spent a while there for special training but froze my *** off and was glad to leave.
The hospital was 24 blocks from our barracks(went there with pneumonia)!!
Have a picture but can't shrink it enough to fit here. ![]()
