It's getting to be that time of year, and will be looking at, and receiving links, videos, etc., regarding the Battle of the Bulge. My husband saw this on the forum he frequents, and shared it with me.
December 1944.... Skorzeny led a panzer brigade of German soldiers in the Battle of the Bulge disguised as American soldiers in an operation known as Operation Grief. A handful were captured by the Americans and spread a rumor that Skorzeny was leading a raid on Paris to kill or capture General Eisenhower; this was untrue, but the Americans believed it and Eisenhower was confined to his headquarters for weeks

A bit late, but I still wanted to say that in this period, I remember my American Veteran friends who were shivering in their foxholes and tanks back in 1944.
Most of them are now resting peace. 
And I will keep remembering them till I am put to the grave myself.
They deserve the uttermost respect!
