My very dear buddy, Tom Nokes, 36th Engineer, just went through a bout of hell and was in the emergency room a few times, and in a lot of pain. But he is back at home and recuperating. As his son tells it, he had a horrendous earache, and began losing all his hearing. It was a very long two week ordeal.

He was finally able to see a great ENT and they told him it will clear and the hearing will come back. It is! Fantastic.

Oh, Tom was one of the vets who went on the Fort Hood trip with Carl Furtado and I.

That's Carl on the left and Tom on the right.

Love ya buddy. Get well.
