Every now and again I get greeting card type letters in the mail from someone whose name I don't recognize but I know almost immediately what is in it. Sons and daughters and other relatives send me a nice note to tell me of the passing of one of our great old Seahorses. Donald Griffin died the other day and may he rest in peace. Our number on the roster is now 57 so Stay Rugged because we need you.
36 Engineers are rugged......John Fallon II. Capt. USA Ret.
I never met or spoke to Donald, but send my condolences to John and the gang and of course, Don's family.
