I'm signed up for Google Alerts, so it notifies me anytime there is something on WWII Engineers. I was sent this one this morning.
It caught my attention too, because my son-in-law's last name is Carney. Probably not related, but you never know...
Anyhow, the gentleman mentioned is taking part in the Honor Flight program.
