Amazing!

Long story short, a gentlemen is sending me a box of negatives from WWII. His mother inherited them, and now they belong to him. They were the property of PFC Tony Boyd, who was one of the three photographers for the 48th Engineers. How exciting, for this is one of the VI Corps units, and I have met many of the men from the 48th.

After I scan the negatives, I am returning them to David Dodd, who is then donating them to the Office of History at the Army Corps of Engineers. I told them they were a fine group and would treasure these items.

Thanks for getting in touch with me David. Can't wait to see them.
