I found these nice bridge photos on Ancestry and thought that I'd share them here for others to see.

Very cool pictures. I thought it was interesting the way the time and date was notated as that is the same way we do it now for certain things. A Date-Time-Group consists of the day of the month with the time next to it with no space followed by the time zone, again with no space. then follows the month and year. Typically, we will use three letters of the month and just the last two digits for the year so right now as I write this in Thailand (I may have forgotten to post I'm in Thailand at the moment) it is:

110653G FEB 15

I personally find this way of noting day/time annoying because when you are sorting with a computer it will sort by the day and not by year or month. When originally signing all of the documents required to enlist and the ones at boot camp it was always two digits of the year, two digits for the month followed by the day with no spaces. so today would be:

150211

It doesn't tell the time, but I suppose you could throw that in on the end. Sorting that date is a snap.

But I digress. . .
