Jason, I know this reply is to an old post, but if you are still looking it might be some help. There were quite a few men from the Indianapolis area in the 160th Engineer Combat Battalion. I have a few pictures of men from Indiana. Do you recognize the name Oscar G. Anderson? He was from Indianapolis and was very sociable. If your grandfather was in the 160th and from that area it is probable that he and O.G. knew each other. I don't find anyone by the name of Urwin in my 160th book, if you would tell me your grandfathers name I would be glad to go through my things to possibly make a connection.
