Exellent book about "B" Co. 307th Engineer Battalion (Airborne). Of interest is the battle for Biazzi Ridge where the Engineers fought as Infantry (again) and Gen Gavin tried to put them in for the C.I.B. but it was denied. It's funny that time and again Engineers perform in their secondary role as Infantrymen and never get recognition.
