Hello:

My grandfather Linwood M. Johnson from PA served with the VI Corps in the 57th Signal Battalion. He trained at Fort Pickett in VA and went to Africa, Italy and Europe. I have pictures of him in Germany and I know he worked on utility poles, I would like to know more about where he served and with whom. If anyone served in this Battalion please contact me at beachbuds4@msn.com.

Thank you,

Hi:

I see you were successful in creating an account. Great! Wonderful to find yet another person associated with VI Corps. :pdt34:

Now let's see what transpires on the forum. Okay, any 57th Signalmen out there or members of their families? We hope to hear from you.

Welcome to our forum.
