Just watched a great program on the History Channel on the USS Missouri. Great story. Great history. The decommissioning was so sad, but thank God she got to stay on as living history at Pearl Harbor as a museum. God bless all who served on her. She was one fine ship. :pdt34::pdt34:

She is next to the Arizona now, so if you ever go to Pearl Harbor, you will get to see the mighty battleship.

I've seen that program too, and loved it. We had a pretty impressive fleet of battleships prior to that cowardly sneak attack on Dec. 7,1941, and the Mighty Mo' went on to serve proudly for several wars and decades after.

So...Here's to the Navy! :drinkin:
