Tom Nokes is unable to attend our reunion this year, and it will be a much sadder place without him. His son sent the following request to me yesterday, and in turn I have forwarded it to everyone on my 36th Engineer mailing list.

I would love for everyone here to take a moment to wish Tom a very Happy Birthday, and I will share this link so Bob can show it to him this weekend, for the celebration at the nursing home.

Tom's Birthday is Thursday the 15th of this month. We will have a party at the VA Nursing home in Kerrville TX on Sat the 17th.

I know he'd like to hear from many of his buddies in the 36th Engineers, Also from Col. Savre. (Don't have his e address) If you could notify several I know he'd be thrilled. He still can't believe a Colonel would speak to him, a PFC. I think it's very funny.
