If you want to get really technical, it is currently Advent, yes? Christmas doesn't start until Christmas and goes through the Epiphany. I know, I know, that's just crazy religious talk. Secular America demands I buy a bunch of stuff made in China to give to everyone and then forget about it 1201 on December 25th.
Actually, that is not too far removed from what they do here in Japan. They get into the Christmas thing (At least the secular aspects) here in Okinawa and in Japan at large. Apparently one tradition is to get a big bucket of KFC. Not sure what the connection is, but good for the Colonel, I guess.
All that being said, I just want to wish everyone a Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukah, and Happy New Years’!

Lee and I are still laughing about the KFC thing. Oh my, it takes all kinds. Heck, we like KFC too, so Merry Christmas Colonel Sanders and oh ya, Todd and family too! ho-ho-ho!

Hoping you are well. Sorry for my absence on the site, although sometimes
I do pop in from time to time without signing in. This semester
I decided to tackle 2 grad courses, which has taken
up all of my free time since September. My last class this semester ends
Jan 14th, and I will then have 3 classes left to complete my masters degree.
Anyhow I just wanted to check in and wish you a Merry Christmas
and a wonderful New Year 2013! At the moment it is currently
a winter wonderland outside with the current snowstorm.
