THE OTHER PICTURE IS MY JEEP, WHICH I JUST GOTTEN OUT OF, WHEN GERMAN ARTILLERY SHELL HIT DIRECTLY INTO IT. THEN IT WAS RUN OVER BY A TANK. I CAN'T REMEMBER THE PLACE WHERE IT HAPPENED. JUST THOUGHT YOU LIKE TO SEE THEM. THE GUY STANDING THERE WAS AN ARMED GUARD THAT RODE WITH ME EVERY WHERE I WENT, NAMED CLARK, IS ALL I CAN REMEMBER. ROCKY WAS ALSO IN MY COMPANY 135TH BN. 34TH RED BULL DIV.

the mind just doesn't function to good. But you do remember Ken Ryan,
Sgt. Brewer. Was it Lt. Anderson that was killed by a mortar round that
hit near his foxhole? There is a pic. above ofa fellow that lost an eye
at the Rapido river.Wonder what Company he was in. Sez he was in the
34th. I remember the combat engineers probing for mines there.
Haven't e/mailed you in a while, all OK? I have been staying close inside
since the wife passed away, it now has been a little over 2 years.
