Watched the movie Pork Chop Hill regarding the last days of fighting in Korea. It was really a heartbreaker. Such needless slaughter on both sides for a damned hill in the NEUTRAL zone. Almost entire companies were being destroyed while some damned generals sat around a table and smoked cigarettes and bantered.
The movie was based on actual facts and they used the names of the men who fought and died there too. Worth viewing. Here's some info on the movie and other links regarding Pork Chop Hill.
