Yes, I was wondering about this. I actually wasn't on the site yesterday, but I didn't see or hear much about VJ day on the news/radio - not that I listen to much news. About that, since I have been back from Iraq and taken a bunch of leave, I really haven't been one to listen to a whole lot of news. I can tell you it's made me a happier person!

 

Thank you to all vets!! And on this day, a special thanks to my Marine brothers from the past, soldiers, sailors, coasties, and merchant marines who put it all on the line in the Pacific to bring us such a hard won victory!!
