Referring to our VBOB President Dee Paris' latest letter to The Chapters ...His suggestion to publicize and give recognition to the upcoming 65th Anniversary of the Battle of the Bulge next year:... that the chapters consult with their State Reps, State Senators, Councilmen, and Governors, Public Figures etc........and have them draw up PROCLAMATIONS to honor our Veterans. and "The Battle" The photo in the Attachment here.....shows members of the Central Massachusetts Chapter-22 in the office of Former Gov. William Weld, with our State Senator and local State Rep.....holding our banner...While I am in the blue sweater showing Gov. Weld our Official Logo on a plaque, which we presented to him on the occasion....on the occasion of the 50th Anniversary of the Battle of the Bulge. Dec 16, 1994....The Governor presented us with his Proclamation...We then toured the State Senate Chambers in the State House...The large picture if of the Contraversial former Governor Curley, of Massachusetts.
