This is Mark McKnight, Olen McKnight's son. I regret to inform you all that my dad passed away yesterday afternoon (Fri. Feb. 24). I know he held all of you in high regard, and our family is grateful for the friendship you have shared with Dad through the years. We haven't yet finalized plans for his service, but I will try to let you know as soon as we do.
Sincerely,
Mark McKnight

Mark; My sincere condolences on the loss of your father. It may be true that we are leaving at the rate of a thousand a day, but ONE is more than anyone should bear.
And there are others on Marion's listing below that I wish to share the following.
I have a poem that I share with friends that suffer a loss of someone dear. It was sent to me at a time of great loss and I would like to share it with you, and your families. Reading it has helped me through many difficult times. I trust it will for all you too.
To those I love and those who love me
When I am Gone, release me, let me go
I have so many things to see and do
You mustn't tie yourself to me with tears
be happy that we had so many years.
I gave you my love, you can only guess
how much you gave me in happiness
I thank you for the love you each have shown
but now it's time I traveled alone.
So grieve a while for me, if grieve you must
then let your grief be comforted by trust
It's only a while that we must part
so bless the memories within your heart.
So if you need me, call and I will come
Though you can't see or touch me, I'll be near
And if you listen within your heart, you'll hear
all my love around you, soft and clear.
And then when you must come this way alone
I'll greet you with a smile and say "Welcome Home"
