Got a letter from my friend Mit. Her husband Bill is an WWII engineer and was rushed to the hospital this week. Here's her letter. Please say a prayer for our friends. -o-

Hello Marion,

I just wanted to touch base with you to let you know that my husband Bill is in the hospital, 4 days ago we had to rush him to the hospital ER he couldn’t hardly breathe, one of his lungs collapsed pretty sick man. He seems to be making progress the lung inflated and hopefully it stays inflated. I hope you are making progress in obtaining information about Bill’s unit, I was so worried that he would go to that big mansion in the sky, he kept saying he wasn’t going to make it.

Thanks for being my friend I hope to meet you someday so in the meantime we can correspond thru email. Have you had any luck checking with the Captain? Hope so. I read all that you had on your site, it was great. Check you later, Mit DeSpain -

Happy to report that Bill has come home from the hospital.

Here are a few words from his wife, Mit:

"...Bill is now back home and is using oxygen, he is feeling better but still has difficult breathing without the oxygen. Our home is full of O-cannisters and we have health care service to come in for baths and vitals so this will be very helpful for me. I wanted to thank you again for the support of the Combat Engineers prayers during Bill’s ordeal when he entered the hospital..."

Bill, we hope you continue to improve. We will keep you in our thoughts and prayers. :heartpump:-o-
