  [#5062]

I'm sorry I didn't post this sooner, for it's a couple of months old, but I ran across it this morning. The John this is addressed to, is my friend, Captain John Fallon.

Dear John:

I am very saddened to have to report that M. L. Marsh (Marty), Lake Panasoffkee, FL passed away in August. Marty was Zap’s jeep driver and received the Purple Heart for wounds incurred when his jeep struck a mine in France. (I don’t think Zap was with him at the time.)

I missed seeing his obituary in the local paper in August, but will send a copy of it when I find it.

Marty was laid to rest in the National Cemetery in Bushnell, FL. He is survived by his wife, Marie.

Stay Rugged!

Ji

Hello Marion,

I made a photo request for this hero's headstone for his Find A Grave memorial page (, http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GRid=157159020 ). A gracious volunteer fulfilled it for me today and posted these two great photos. Have a good one.

Randy
