When I look at my mail and I see a handwritten latter with a vaguely familiar return address I know what is in it before I open it. Another old Seahorse has died, Burnice Hays from Missouri. I get some nice letters from the wives or relatives and I always answer them, but what can I say? Our number is now 52.
36 Engineers are rugged......John Fallon II. Capt. USA Ret.
I didn't know Burnice personally, but sad nonetheless. My condolences to his fellow seahorses and to his wife and family. John, I know how you hate getting those in the mail...
