This is from Joe:
...from the "History of The 3rd Inf. Div" and 3 pages from Sherm Pratts book "Autobahn to Berchtesgaden"", which I am E mailing. (I have Sherms
permission to post anything in his book).
Sherm mentions the boats the Eng's brought for us were aluminum.
Truthfully I can't recall if aluminum, wood or rubber. Its been over 60
years ago but knowing Sherm he is probably correct. Joe
