I don't get a commission for this 'plug' but I got an email this morning reminding me of this sale... I believe "The World at War" (Lawrence Olivier narration) is THE ONE collection to own if you can choose only one. When I bought mine a few years back I thought it was a bargain at $129.00...Now the History Channel has it on clearance for only $69.00! 
Twist somebody's arm for an early Christmas gift if you gotta, but get this one! It's about 26 hours of high quality WWII documentaries, and well worth the price IMHO...
