What , Captain Todd you have no idea ! I'm very surprised !!

 

 

That's a little clue ; He served as executive officer of the 2d Raiders during the Makin raid and commanded the 4th Raiders after that unit was activated.

A other clue !!

 

 

The first award was for actions on January 10–13, 1944 and the second for actions on June 4, 1944. While at Anzio he was wounded a number of times, including two separate wounds on a single day.
