My great grandfather Kristian Henriksen was in the 540th. In a interview he mentioned a uncle Avery who was his bunk mate when he landed at Anzio. He told us Avery was killed and they called him uncle because he was much older than the rest of them. He didn't talk about the war much and especially when he was in combat and when he did it was vague. If anyone know about a Avery who was killed at Anzio I would appreciate any information
