Congratulations to my buddy, Benjamin Joy, on his recent promotion. Atta boy!

1313th Engineer Co. 779th Engineer Battalion. (130th Engineer Brigade)
Ben is the grandson of my dad's platoon buddy, Ernest Joy. Your grandfather is smiling down and very, very proud of you. As am I!

His wife Lynette was explaining to people on Facebook, "he got promoted from an E-6 (SSG) to E-7 (SFC) He is the platoon SGT and is in charge of 39 guys."
