I guess sometimes I have a tendency to look backwards (as opposed to thinking of myself as a veteran) at this time since I live amongst and work with servicemen everyday so it's just "another day at the office" for me. This long gone RAF station was used for the D-Day landings and ceased to exist many years ago. I will be honouring all the British, Canadian and United States forces that flew from this airfield in C47's and gliders.</p>
